To get this build right you need to align the stats, skills, and items that would give you a further boost and make you really a fierce High Priest. Read on to find out what is the best way to approach the High Priest Magnus Exorcismus build in Ragnarok Origin.

Stats for Magnus Exorcismus Build in Ragnarok Origin

The first thing you need to think about when creating your build is the stats. Magnus Exorcismus High Priest needs to be built around INT, DEX, and VIT. INT is the primary stat and when allocating your stat points you want to invest the most in this stat. It provides you with the necessary magic damage increase so as you progress through the game always make sure that this stat has the highest number of points.

DEX and VIT need to be increased side by side, but not as much as INT. Improving DEX will lower your casting time for spells and skills while VIT will give you survivability and sustain that will allow you to stand your ground despite some incoming damage and prevent you from having a glass cannon build.

  • Holy Light (level 5) – A massive single-target strike of Holy Magic Damage. Ideal vs Undead and Shadow monsters.
  • Heal (level 10) – This great healing spell gives big HP restoration to both you and an ally. The catch with this spell is that 30% of your Magic Damage gets converted to the amount healed, so the bigger the Magic Damage, the more you heal.
  • Blessing (level 10) – A support spell that increases STR, DEX, and INT stats by 10 for 10 minutes. Since DEX and INT are your primary stats, you can keep casting this spell on yourself all the time.
  • Angelus (level 10) – Boost someone’s DEF by 95% for 10 minutes. Can be great for yourself or an ally when in a pickle.
  • Increase Agility (level 5) – Passive skill that allows you to move quicker with a 25% bonus MSPD. If you combine it with some items that also boost your movement you can really be a Usain Bolt out there.

Priest Job (2nd Job)

  • Magnificat (level 1) – Double the Magic Recovery of everyone in your team for 30 seconds.
  • Resurrection (level 4) – Bring an ally back to life with 80% of his HP. Requires 1x Blue Gemstone.
  • Turn Undead (level 5) – Cast on the Undead enemies for either a massive Holy Damage nuke or an instant kill. You have a 10% chance of instantly killing the target (doesn’t work on bosses).
  • Aspersio (level 2) – Buff up your or your allies’ weapon with a Holy attribute which increases damage in general and adds extra boost vs Undead and Demon monsters.
  • Zen Heart (level 10) – Passive skill that increases your SP Recovery and boosts the effects of items that grant you SP Recovery by 150%. A must-have skill that enables you to dash out many spells in combination with Meditatio and Mana Recharge (3rd job).
  • Magnus Exorcismus (level 10) – The core skill of your build. At level 10 this skill deals 867% of Holy Magic Damage for 14 seconds in an AoE. Try to lure more enemies to your position and then use this area spell instead of using it on a single target (unless it’s a boss) due to its high SP cost and cast time. Requires 1x Blue Gemstone.
  • Safety Wall (level 10) – You cast a buff that prevents 10 instances of all incoming Physical damage. Great ability for saving yourself or an ally that is about to be attacked by a strong enemy.
  • Gloria (level 5) – Use this support skill to grant all your teammates a 30 LUK boost for 60 seconds.

As you noticed some spells in the Priest skill set require a Blue Gemstone. Read our guide on where to find Blue Gem in Ragnarok Origin if you don’t have any.

High Priest Job (3rd Job)

  • Meditatio (level 10) – Passive skill that increases your SP pool by 10% and SP Regen by 30%. It aligns perfectly with Zen Heart to allow you to use as many spells as possible. Further, it boosts Heal spell by 20% so it’s hard not to love this skill.
  • Mana Recharge (level 10) – Last SP boosting skill in line. It decreases the SP cost of all your skills by 20%.
  • Assumptio (level 5) – Boost all allies with MDEF and DEF by 75% for more than 3 minutes.
  • Suffragium (level 3) – Help your ally by reducing the cast time for a single spell by 45%. When you cast this on someone, they have 10 seconds to use their spell and get the cast time reduction benefit.
  • Holy Ward (level 10) – Passive skill that increases your Holy Damage by 20%.

Equipment for Magnus Exorcismus Build in Ragnarok Origin

Your gear for Magnus Exorcismus will depend on the drops that the RNG gods give you and your ability to buy and upgrade certain items. Because of that I won’t be going into details about every gear item but will instead explain what type of items you should be going for.

Primarily, try not to miss out on equipment that offers you SP Consumption reduction and SP recovery increase. The more items you got that have these traits the better for your High Priest caster because you will not only get to cast the Magnus Exorcismus more, but some other spells as well.

Further, you can never go wrong by getting items that boost MATK and MDMG and those that increase your primary stats (INT, DEX, and VIT). You rely heavily on your magic damage and your character will always benefit from a fresh boost in primary stats.

Even though we avoided talking about particular items, there are some that we should mention. The most important item that you should be on the lookout for is the Holy Stick. The Holy Stick improves on many above-mentioned features regarding MATK and MDMG and it further has specific buffs for Magnus Exorcismus. These buffs include better variable casting time, damage, and bypassing the target’s magic defenses for this powerful spell. When equipped with Exorcism Bible you get an extra 20% damage for the Magnus Exorcismus.

Another item suggestion will include Spring Mail. This item will allow you to move quickly and sprint around which can be vital for your non-tank High Priest. Even though you will be investing in some survivability by ramping up VIT, you can’t tank all the incoming damage like Swordsman would and often enough you’ll need to get the hell out of the heat of the battle and kill monsters from afar.
