Paladin Stat Build Ragnarok Origin

When it comes to building attributes, this build will require you to heavily go for STR and INT with a bigger focus on STR. The INT gives you boosted magic damage, more spell points (SP), and a larger spell point pool, while the STR stat increases your melee and ranged physical attacks, max inventory capacity, and FLEE.

In our build, the physical attack as well as some mighty spells will be in focus and the weapon of choice will be the two-handed spear. It is closely connected to some of the spells of the build and if you don’t use the spear the whole strategy falls apart.

With that in mind, let’s hop on and dive into the Paladin skill build.

These are the best skills to pick up when building toward a great Paladin.

  • Bash (level 5) – A 220% + 100 Neutral Physical Damage to a single target and an 8 Skill Accuracy bonus. When you upgrade your ASPD the recovery from this skill is shorter.
  • Increase Recuperative Power (level 10) – This passive skill gets your HP Recovery to 50 + 1% of your Max HP every 10 seconds. Additionally, it increases your healing effects by 30% when you use HP Restoring items. It is one of the first skills that is slowly building you up to an unkillable beast.
  • Magnum Break (level 10) – A powerful move that can knock back up to 10 enemies around you with a fire blast that deals 250% + 100 Fire Physical Damage. You also get a bonus of 28 Skill Accuracy.
  • Provoke (level 10) – A taunt skill that is great for saving allies. You jump in and taunt all nearby monsters to attack you. They will have their damage increased by 15% but their Defense will be reduced by 37% making them vulnerable to your DPS allies. The skill lasts for 3 seconds but your Hatred Multiplier towards the taunted monsters will be increased by 250% for 7 seconds.
  • Endure (level 5) – Activates Endure status that gives you +5 to Magic Defense for 22 seconds and an unstoppable status while you’re attacked. It can be combined with Provoke for a more effective monster wiping.

Crusader Skill Build (2nd job)

  • Riding (level 1) – A passive skill that grants you the ability to ride Grand Peco and increases your Weight limit by 1000. Great upgrade for someone who will be carrying tough gear around.
  • Faith (level 10) – Faith increases your max HP by 3000 and gives you a protective shield that reduces Holy Damage taken by 30%.
  • Demon Bane (level 10) – This passive skill upgrades your physical attack and your physical defense by 20. Additionally, that bonus is boosted to 50 to both attack and defense when you’re up against Demons and Undead.
  • Holy Cross (level 10) – Holy Cross is one of your key skills in the build. It deals 380% Holy Physical Damage when used and has a 30% chance to put a Darkness status on the attacked enemy. The damage is doubled if you have a two-handed Spear equipped so we recommend you craft one as soon as possible. The strength of this build lies in that combo.
  • Spear Mastery (level 10) – It boosts your physical attack by 40 when walking or by 10 when mounted.
  • Grand Cross (level 10) – Summoning a giant cross that does AoE Holy Damage to up to 10 enemies. Alongside Physical attacks and Magical attacks, the damage of this spell is also based on the % of your maximum HP. So if you want to exploit this spell more alter your stat choices a bit so they favor VIT.

  • Spear Quicken (level 9) – This support skill requires a Spear equipped buffs up your ASPD by 28%, CRI by 18, and FLEE by 18 for 2 minutes.
  • Gloria Domini (level 10) – A mighty spell that is an MVP and miniboss wrecker. It deals 1400% Holy Physical Damage to a single target, which is first slowed by 40% and then rooted. The downside is that it will cost you 40% of your SP.
  • Battle Chant (level 10) – A passive support skill that you can activate whenever you want that will have a 75% chance of giving your allies one of the following bonuses at random: Holy ATK +10%, Max HP +10%, and All Attributes +5. While you keep this skill active you will lose 1 SP per second.
