Project New World – How to Get All Fighting Styles

A pirate's strength is in their sword.

While there is plenty of punching and sword-slashing in One Piece, the series is also home to some truly esoteric fighting styles. You don’t know confusion until you’ve seen a guy fight by shooting sharpened noodles out of his nose. While the weirder stuff is off the table, you can learn some of these styles yourself in Project New World. Here’s how to get all fighting styles in Project New World.

Project New World – How to Get All Fighting Styles

In Project New World, your ability to use different fighting styles is less reliant on actually learning them, and more reliant on possessing the right equipment. Devil Fruit abilities notwithstanding, you can learn different fighting styles by obtaining different weapons. Some of these weapons can be purchased from specific NPCs, while others are obtained as drops from bosses.

Katana

Your basic katana, used for unleashing swift iaido slashes and air projectiles. You can buy a basic katana from the sword shop on the starter island.

Shark Blade

A giant saw meant to overwhelm opponents with its sheer weight. You have a 5% chance of obtaining this weapon as a drop from the Shark Boss (AKA Arlong) at Shark Park.

2-Sword Style

Like using one sword? Try using two to unleash powerful twister attacks. 2-Sword V1 is purchased from Mr. White in Logue City for $100,000, while V2 is obtained from a book dropped by the Dual Swordsman superboss. He’s got a 10% chance of dropping it, but if you get it, you can bring it to Mr. White to upgrade your style.

Pipe

What may seem like a humble piece of plumbing equipment becomes a means of launching fiery blasts in the right hands. You can obtain this weapon by talking to Soba in Marine Base Town.

Yoru

Yoru, also known as the Dark Blade, is the strongest sword in the world (and in the game). You can only obtain it with the purchase of the Dark Blade Gamepass for 1199 Robux.

Mace

A titanic steel club once wielded by a draconic warlord. It’s got a 15% chance of dropping upon defeating the Mace Boss.

Krampus Scythe

I don’t remember there being a Krampus in One Piece, but it’s certainly not outside the realm of possibility. This frosty scythe has a 7% chance of dropping upon defeating the Krampus superboss.

Bisento

This mighty polearm is imbued with the power to shake the seas themselves. You can buy the V1 version from Bella at the Marine HQ for $500,000. After you have the V1, there’s a 7.5% chance that TremorGirl will drop the V2 upon defeat.

Golden Staff

Here’s a fun fact: gold is highly conductive to electricity, which is why this staff is such a live-wire. Upon defeating the Thunder God on Sky Island (AKA Enel), this staff has a 1% chance of dropping.
