Where to Find the 7-Star Tera Raid

In order to find this 7-Star Tera Raid, players must first gain access to them. These Raids are only accessible via the post-game of Scarlet and Violet and even at that point you will need to complete a few things beforehand in order to unlock them. The steps are as follows:

  • First beat the game. This means you need to complete all 3 main Questlines in Scarlet and Violet: Path of Legends, Starfall Valley and Victory Road.
  • To see the credits in Scarlet and Violet, you must beat the final Boss who is located in Area Zero.
  • Next, within the post-game you need to defeat all Gym Leaders once more.
  • Complete the Academy Ace Tournament by winning.
  • Beat 5-Star Raids after unlocking them by hitting the steps above. This will unlock 6- and 7-Star Raids (for when Events hit).

By completing the steps above, you will now have access to all Raids that appear on the Map. However, in order to find the 7-Star Tera Raid when an event hits, you will not know where the Raid will be due to its randomized spawns. Instead, you will need to check for these Raids via their black glistening Crystals which has iridescent colors to it that switches continuously in-game. These will look similar to the 6-Star Raids however on your Map, their gold spike icon with a wing symbol (for Decidueye) will differentiate the Event from the others.

You can confirm whether this is the correct Raid or not by interacting with these Crystals up close you will be able to outline what Pokémon is within the Raid. As the Decidueye’s silhouette is distinct enough, you should be able to find this 7-Star Raid with no problem.
