Pokemon Scarlet and Violet: All Porto Marinada Auction Items

Warm up your best auctioneer voice.

Shopping at auctions in real life is a fun and potentially profitable way to get your hands on single rare finds or large quantities of common stuff at a potentially low price. Or you could completely blow it and spend every dollar you have on nothing. That’s part of the fun! In Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, you can participate in auctions for items both simple and remarkable. Here are all the Porto Marinada auction items in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet: All Porto Marinada Auction Items

As part of the Cascarrafa Gym Test, you need to participate in an auction in the small seaside town of Porto Marinada on Kofu’s behalf. After you complete this Gym Test, you can participate in the Porto Marinada auctions freely. There are usually three shopkeepers in the main walkway that offer either a single rare item or a stack of items for a lump sum. You can talk to them to participate in the auction, and if you outbid the other bidders, it’s yours. If you participate in all three auctions or don’t see anything you want, just wait a day, and the auctioneers will have new stuff on offer.

Special Auction Items

In addition to the regular auction items, there’s a special category of items that will only go up for auction if you have a certain Pokemon either in your party or Boxes. If you own one of these Pokemon, a fourth auctioneer will appear at the usually-empty stand and begin offering items that correspond to them. Each of these items is meant to control a Legendary or rare Pokemon’s transformational abilities, which means you’ll need to transfer in a Legendary Pokemon from another game to get them.

The special auction items and their corresponding Legendary are as follows:

  • Rotom Catalog: Allows you to select a transformation for a Rotom
  • Adamant Crystal: Allows you to switch a Dialga between its two forms
  • Lustrous Globe: Allows you to switch a Palkia between its two forms
  • Griseous Core: Allows you to switch a Giratina between its two forms
  • Prison Bottle: Allows you to switch a Hoopa between its two forms
  • Scroll of Darkness: Allows you to evolve a Kubfu into Single-Strike Urshifu
  • Scroll of Waters: Allows you to evolve a Kubfu into Rapid-Strike Urshifu
  • Reins of Unity: Allows you to combine Calyrex and Glastrier/Spectrier
  • Reveal Glass: Allows you to switch a Tornadus, Thundurus, Landorus, or Enamorus between its two forms
  • Flame Plate: Allows you to switch an Arceus to Fire-type
  • Splash Plate: Allows you to switch an Arceus to Water-type
  • Zap Plate: Allows you to switch an Arceus to Electric-type
  • Meadow Plate: Allows you to switch an Arceus to Grass-type
  • Icicle Plate: Allows you to switch an Arceus to Ice-type
  • Fist Plate: Allows you to switch an Arceus to Fighting-type
  • Toxic Plate: Allows you to switch an Arceus to Poison-type
  • Earth Plate: Allows you to switch an Arceus to Ground-type
  • Sky Plate: Allows you to switch an Arceus to Flying-type
  • Mind Plate: Allows you to switch an Arceus to Psychic-type
  • Insect Plate: Allows you to switch an Arceus to Bug-type
  • Stone Plate: Allows you to switch an Arceus to Rock-type
  • Spooky Plate: Allows you to switch an Arceus to Ghost-type

  • Pixie Plate: Allows you to switch an Arceus to Fairy-type

If you’re on the lookout for a particular item and either can’t find it in the regular shops or don’t have enough cash for large quantities of it, make sure to check out the auctions! Who knows, you might just make it big!
