The Mac-10 is in the spotlight for the latest season of Black Ops Cold War Warzone. Famous Call of Duty streamer Nickmercs reveals his loadout for the best SMG in the game and goes over a list of his attachments and why this weapon is fantastic. Perhaps replacing the MP5, the Mac-10 boasts the highest fire rate in the game and the shorted time-to-kill of any gun.

Here’s Nickmercs’ setup for the Mac-10 in Cold War Warzone:

• Muzzle: Muzzle Break 9
• Barrel: 5.3″ Extended
• Stock: Wire Stock
• Underbarrel: Patrol Grip
• Ammunition: STANAG 53 Rnd Drum

To summarize the attachments, they’re adding some mobility and a bigger clip size to the weapon. The goal is to destroy an entire enemy squad in one clip before they realize what hit them. We can see the Mac-10 even rivals the popular Doof Doof R9-0 Dragon Breath meta weapon in the video. 

For attachments, the muzzle break adds some much needed vertical recoil control, which can be a lot to handle on a naked Mac-10. Increase the bullet velocity, or bullet speed, for faster time-to-kill with the 5.3″ extended barrel. The wire stock helps the sprint-to-fire speed, making this thing even more lethal in close-range situations. 

Using the Patrol Grip, you gain some extra sprint movement speed to help mobility. Finally, you’ll want to use a big magazine, so the STANAG 53 Rnd Drum is a reliable option. 

After lots of testing, I can say Nickmercs is dead on the money with his overview of the new Cold War Warzone Battle Pass weapon. In the right hands, this weapon is a beast. In the video, he compares the feel of the gun to the Skorpion in Black Ops 2. Could the Mac-10 completely replace the MP5 in the new meta? We’ll have to wait and find out.
