Reekwater Platinum route
Reekwater has one of the best Platinum farming routes in the game. Start at the northwest part of Reekwater, by the Skyview Repose. Follow the ridge south, cross the main road leading west out of Reekwater to the next ridge, and finish there. When you’re done, run back north and rinse and repeat the process. You can easily get around 1,000 Platinum every 20 minutes.
Edengrove Platinum locations
Another excellent spot for Platinum is right outside of Valor Hold in Edengrove. You’ll find lots of Platinum ore along the ridge directly northwest of Valor Hold Outpost, near Fanglethorn Pass and Creeping Reach.
Ebonscale Reach Platinum locations
If you find yourself in Ebonscale Reach looking for Platinum, you can check out the far southeastern coast. Look for the Stormcourt Shipment location, and that’s where you’ll find lots of Platinum veins. It’s not the easiest place to get to, but it’s a good option if you are in the area.
Shattered Mountains Platinum locations
Finally, you can find a lot of Platinum in the endgame zone of Shattered Mountains. Specifically, you’ll find tons of Platinum in the Ambusti Inferior and Superior areas, which are just northwest of the Mountainhome Outpost. Granted, you will need a group to farm this place, but you’ll likely be spending a good amount of time here if you are farming endgame elites.
