When it comes to endgame crafting in New World, you’ll be somewhat bottlenecked by a few important resources. One such resource is Asmodeum, a metal infused with dark magicks. The good thing is that Asmodeum is not too difficult to craft, but you’ll need to make sure you meet a few requirements first. In this guide, we’ll explain how to get Asmodeum in New World.
How to get Asmodeum in New World
Asmodeum is a metal created at the smelter with the following ingredients:
- Orichalcum Ingot x5
- Tolvium x1
- Cinnabar x1
- Obsidian Flux x1
- Charcoal x2
As you can see, the primary ingredients are Orichalcum, Tolvium, and Cinnabar. These resources come from Orichalcum veins, which means you will need to have at least 175 Mining skills if you want to farm them yourself. Alternatively, if you are rich enough, you could technically buy all of these ingredients at the Trading Post. You will need a lot of Asmodeum, though, so we wouldn’t advise that.
The recipe is automatically unlocked when you reach a Smelting skill level of 200. The thing about crafting Asmodeum is that there is a daily limit to how much you can make. Unfortunately, you can only create 10 Asmodeum every 24 hours. That means if you are trying to crank out a bunch of Asmodeum, you will be limited by time. In that case, you’ll need to find another player with level 200 Smelting or buy some from the Trading Post.
Asmodeum is a requirement for a lot of endgame high-end recipes, ranging from Legendary Weapons like Rage and Gilded Defense and Legendary Armor such as Voidbent. That said, you will want to prioritize collecting the materials to make Asmodeum as soon as possible and try your best to craft ten per day if you want to make it efficiently.
