New Pokemon Snap: A Moment’s Rest – 4 Star Serperior Photo Guide

The Regal Serperior is one of the over two hundred Pokemon in New Pokemon Snap. It’s one of my personal favorites, and it’s a bit tricky to find this one in the game. You’ll have to have a keen eye to spot this one in Elsewhere Forest. Not to worry, though, because we’ll show you exactly where to look if you want to score a nice photo and complete one of the LenTalk requests while you’re at it. Here’s how to complete A Moment’s Rest and get a 4-star photo of Serperior in New Pokemon Snap.

How to Complete A Moment’s Rest and get a 4 Star Serperior in New Pokemon Snap

To complete the request called A Moment’s Rest in Elsewhere Forest, you’ll want to proceed through the level without really interacting with anything. You’re aiming to be in the zone with the Bewear Pokemon running around. About midway through this zone, you’ll cross under a large tree, after which point you’ll find Serperior’s tale hanging out on the left.

Serperior's Tail in New Pokemon Snap

To make Serperior show itself, throw an Illumina Orb at its tail. Serprior should then makes its way out and start looking around. At that point, toss a Fluffruit near it and wait for it to start eating. After Serperior finishes the Fluffruit, play a Melody to make it go to sleep. Take a shot of the sleeping Serperior for a 4-star shot.

Once you have a nice shot of the curled-up sleeping Serperior, you can finish up the level however you like, or simply pull up the menu and quit research to hand in the photo to Professor Mirror. Now, if you wanted to know how to get different photos of Serperior to fill out the Photodex, here’s what ours looks like:

  • 1-Star Serperior: Normal shot, no special pose.
  • 2-Star Serperior: Serperior poking out around the corner.
  • 3-Star Serperior: Feed it a fluffruit, and take a shot afterward.
  • 4-Star Serperior: Sleeping Serperior.
