The LenTalk request reads, “I looked away for a second, and suddenly Taillow was fleeing! What happened?”

How to Complete What’s Up with Wurmple in New Pokemon Snap

  1. Enter Florio Nature Park (Day) Research Level 3.
  2. Get to the part near the water with the Bidoof and Dam.
  3. Take a picture of the flying Taillows.
  4. Around the bend, Taillows and Wurmple are preparing for a faceoff.
  5. Throw Illumina Orbs at all six Pokemon in the battle.
  6. Take a picture of Wurmple performing a counterattack.

First, you’ll need to make sure you have Research Level 3 on Florio Nature Park, which you probably already have since you see the LenTalk Request. Next, you can boost through the level to the part near the water. You’ll see some Taillows flying around the area as soon as you pass the Dodrio.

After you take a picture of a Taillow, they will group up and land a bit ahead of you, around the bend in the path. You’ll notice there’s three Taillow and three Wurmple set up in a battle formation. Hit them all with an Illumina Orb to get them fired up.

Wait for the battle to commence, and then take a photo of the Wurmple performing a counterattack against a Taillow. You may want to take a bunch of pictures at this point to make sure you capture the right moment. When you get the moment, you can exit out of the course and select the four-star photo to show Professor Mirror.
