Minimum and Recommended Settings for Warhammer 40K: Darktide

Will it run on your PC?

I remember the days when a game only weighted around 4 to 64 MB (yes, I’m a Nintendo 64 kid). Imagine having the greatest game of all time on the palm of your hand and weighting just a couple of MB (Ocarina of Time is the best game ever, no debate over here). Now, with games such as Warzone 2.0 file size being around 70 GB, everything’s changes. Even more, minimum and recommended requirements and settings are now exorbitant, and have been for quite a bit. Sometimes I feel like things have changed for the worse, but then I witness the amount of detail and performance of several games and I just decide to keep my mouth shut. Anyway, with the release of Warhammer 40K Darktide, many are wondering whether they will be able to run this game or not. Here are the minimum and recommended settings for Warhammer 40K: Darktide.

Always take into account whether your PC needs an update or two. With new games needing more power, and companies such as NVIDIA and AMD releasing new generations of GPUs, maybe you’re in time for an upgrade. For example, currently I have a Radeon RX 570, and it is already on the minimum requirements for this game. I believe the next investment I’ll make is to buy a GPU, not only for Darktide, but to future-proof my system for games to come. Take that in wind while you check out the minimum and recommended settings for Darktide.

Even if you don’t sport a 30-series (NVIDIA) or a 6-thousand series (AMD) card to run on its minimum or recommended settings, you can still play in lower resolutions such as 1080P, disable any type of Ray Tracing, make the graphic details profile to be set on low and even applying technology such as DLSS or FSR (wherever available) to improve the stability and performance of any game, not just Darktide. Having said that, I hope that your PC is able to handle this game, as it sure promises a lot of fun and merciless killing. That’s a combination for the ages.
