People often associate cornerbacks with interceptions and pass breakups. However, their roles go so much deeper than that in Madden NFL 22.

Regardless of technique, a quality cornerback needs to understand the passing game and the timing of receivers. Meaning that they not only need the requisite physical skill set to compete, including top tier footwork, quickness, and speed. But they also need to have the awareness and natural football instincts to know how and when to make a play on the ball.
