Fans have been itching to find out when they can get their hands on the game. The good news is that there has been a ton of information released by EA, so it’s only a matter of time before we find out everything there is to know about Madden 22.

The cover athlete for Madden 22 has been a constant topic of discussion for the past several weeks, but it seems as though EA has gone with the current and future “GOAT” as their cover stars.
Who is on the cover of Madden 22?
Tom Brady and Patrick Mahomes are the Madden 22 cover athletes, with both of them being featured on all three editions of the game. The three editions of Madden 22 are:
- Dynasty Edition
- MVP Edition
- Standard Edition

When is the official Madden 22 release date?
The Standard Edition of Madden 22 releases on August 20th, 2021, but fans can also pre-order the Dynasty or MVP Editions for an earlier release date of August 17th. EA Play subscribers will have access to the game a week before release, on August 12th.
