How to Play Multiplayer in Voltaire: The Vegan Vampire

In order to play Voltaire: The Vegan Vampire with friends, you’ll need to host the game. It’s important to note that your friend won’t have to own a copy of the game, as they will be streaming gameplay via the internet so that they can play along with you. This is similar to couch co-op or split-screen co-op from back in the day, though you won’t have to be on the same hardware, nor even in the same house.

To do this, simply boot the game up and then hold Shift+Tab. This will bring up the Steam menu, allowing you to select a friend to invite. Once you clicked the profile of the friend that you’d like to invite, select the dropdown arrow and then “Remote Play” to invite them to a game with you. From there, you’ll be able to get the game set up and begin playing as usual, though with a vampire buddy!
