Is there a New Map for S16?

Sadly there is no new map for Seasons 16 of Apex Legends. It’s been a while since there was not a new map in a season update. Even stranger, for the first time ever there is also no new character in a new season. These might be very disappointing or upsetting news for big Apex Fans, but it seems EA has plans for almost completely revamping the series.

There are heavily revamped characters with new assigned classes. Over 20 characters now have newly assigned classes for you to try. This may be because of the newly added Death Match battle feature. For the first time, you can create a 6 v 6 (two teams of three vs two teams of three) team death match that is getting lots of fans excited. The old battle arena mode is being phased out and the new team deathmatch seems to be the future of Apex Legends.

For the first time, this new Season of Apex Legends looks to focus on fixing a lot of issues the community has been asking for changes. The gameplay, some features, and a lot of character performances are all being overhauled and brought into a new sleeker era of Apex Legends.
