It was also revealed that the game would be coming to PC, PlayStation consoles, and Microsoft consoles. Although it wasn’t specified which consoles would receive the game, Full Circle did reveal if Skat had cross-progression and cross-play.

Does Skate Have Cross-Progression?

As a free-to-play game across multiple platforms, skate. will have cross-progression. This means that you can play the game on PC and then continue where you left off on a PlayStation or Xbox. With how this feature functions in other games, you’ll most likely need to use an account to store your data in the cloud. I assume this will be an EA account or an account specifically made for skate. A mobile version of the game is also planned meaning game progress can be transferred to and from your mobile device.

Does Skate Have Cross-Play?

Like most multiplayer games today, skate. will feature cross-play. You’ll not only be able to transfer data between each platform, but you’ll also be able to play with players from each platform as well. Xbox users can play with Playstation users and vice versa. Just like the cross-progression, an extra account will likely be required so that you can add your friends if they aren’t on the same platform as you.

Multiplayer has always been an important component of the Skate games but with skate., it seems to be taken to another level as there are now more players in lobbies. Collabozones have also been added to the game now. These areas are built by players working together and have the chance to appear in another player’s game. There isn’t a release date yet for skate. but it looks like fans of multiplayer have a lot to look forward to.
