Inscryption is a deckbuilding roguelike game from Daniel Mullins Games and Devolver Digital. Players start in a creepy room, which is full of surprises and puzzles to solve. One of these puzzles comes in the form of a safe with a three-digit combination. If you know where to look, you can learn the combo immediately. In this guide, we’ll show you how to open the safe in Inscryption.
How to find the safe combination in Inscryption
First off, you’ll need to get up from the table you sit at to play the game. You can do this by simply pressing the “S” key on the keyboard. If you are facing the table, look to the left by pressing the “A” key. You should see the book on the shelf next to the lantern. The book is more or less a manual for the game, and you can find the combination for the safe stamped on one of the pages. Specifically, you’ll want to navigate to the “Abilities” section and find Page 23.
The safe combination is 2-7-3.
How to open the safe in Inscryption
To open the safe in Inscryption, enter the combination 2-7-3 on the dials. After entering the combination, the safe door should swing open, revealing two items: a key and a card. The card you receive is Stinkbug, a 1 attack 2 health card that costs 2 bones to play.
You can use the key in another hidden “puzzle” within the room. To the left wall, you will notice a chest with a keyhole at the top of it. You can insert the key into the keyhole at the top of the chest. The chest will then reveal two puzzles you must solve, replicating the game of Inscryption. Your job is to deal five total damage in each puzzle to open the chest drawers and receive a prize.
