There are 6 cursed objects that can be found in Phasmophobia but are randomly generated in game. These will not appear in every game you enter, but rather these objects will randomly spawn in. Whilst these objects help players in their search for the entity, its use can hinder your progress in the game in the sense of provoking the entity. Each cursed object has a different method of use, all of which highlights key information regarding the identity of the entity. One of these is the Haunted Mirror which shows the player part of the Ghost Room location. This is our guide on how to use the Haunted Mirror in Phasmophobia.
How to Use the Haunted Mirror
The Haunted Mirror will not always spawn in as the cursed object for the game. Its chances of spawning in are 1 in 6 to account for the other cursed objects. You will be able to use the Haunted Mirror in Phasmophobia when you are in the investigation phase. Players should first take a photo of the cursed object. Whilst this is not compulsory in order to use the Mirror, you can get money from the picture if taken. Pick the cursed object up. You should use the item only in a room which you deem safest. The best option may be at the area’s entrance, that way if the entity tries to attack after being provoked by the Mirror’s use, you can easily get to the Van from here.
To use the Haunted Mirror in Phasmophobia, simply click the right-mouse click. This will show you a live-feed of the Ghost Room, highlighting the entity’s current position. Keep in mind that with every use of the Haunted Mirror, your sanity will get drained by 20%. After multiple uses you may wish to check your sanity levels via the Van. If your sanity level reaches 0 the Haunted Mirror will crack within its following use and the entity will begin their cursed hunt (locking the doors with you inside and will attack yourself and other party members).
