Path of Exile offers numerous rare and powerful items around which you can create your builds. There are many such items out there and new and updated builds keep popping up from new players every day. In this article, we will talk about Hateforge gauntlets, a unique item in PoE that can be your mighty ally if you know how to use it right.
Playing with a Hateforge Build
Hateforge is built around Vaal attack skills you use yourself (traps and mines not included) that cost Rage instead of Souls when using this item. The item also supports socketed gems by level 30 rage, increases your armor significantly, and reduces the Rage cost of using skills.

To use Hateforge effectively you should use Vaal Ground Slam with the Iron Will Support gem and the Unwavering Stance keystone passive skill.
Vaal Ground Slam is a fearsome attack with which you slam the ground, knocking back and stunning enemies all around you. It increases all of your stun chances and can’t be evaded. Iron Will Support will assist the Vaal attack by amplifying its damage.
By picking up the Unwavering Stance keystone passive skill you will ensure that you can not be stunned, meaning there is no enemy that can stop any of your combos or simple Vaal Ground Slams. Essentially, this means that you will always be able to knock enemies back and stun them. But keep in mind that this keystone passive is completely removing your ability to evade enemy attacks, so you might be vulnerable to some powerful and consistent range attacks.
Some builds that we’ve found online show that this strategy can offer you DPS anywhere from 3.1M to 6.4M. Of course, there are other factors that influence the total damage output, but this is the range that you can expect.
