How to Use Fulu Talisman in Demonologist

Show yourself Demon!

Fulu are Daoist Talismans meant to instruct the deity they are communicating to via the Talisman to perform an action, usually to aid with any ailments. But in the case of Demonologist, what us as Ghost Hunters ask of the Ghost is to assist in our investigation so that we may identify their Type quicker. However, many Ghosts may not want to do this as it will lead to their Exorcism faster than they had originally anticipated. Talismans are typically used to provide the user with good luck and safety against evil forces depending on the incantation written on the Talisman itself. In the case of Demonologist, you are more than likely to experience increased hostility and action as they are invited to show themselves under your presence. This is Gamer Journalist’s guide on how to use the Fulu Talisman in Demonologist.

What is the Purpose of the Fulu Talisman?

The Fulu Talisman instructs the entity in Demonologist to show itself so that you may get some kind of visual idea of what the Entity Type is. It is similar and acts as a combined item of the Voodoo Doll and ESG Device, but without the threat of usage unlike those who attempt to use the Doll mid-match. You should, however, have a Crucifix on you in case the entity feels provoked by the use of the Talisman depending on the time in the match you choose to use it. However, for those who are not getting much action from the entity when trying to record evidence using your Tools such as the ESG Device or Easel Canvas, Gamer Journalist recommends moving these Tools around the Entity Room to get a good reading after using the Talisman.

How to Use the Fulu Talisman in Demonologist

You need to find the Entity Room firstly before using the Fulu Talisman as you want the room where the most paranormal activity can be observed. The goal is to get the entity to communicate with you via either the Easel Canvas or the ESG Device. Of course, the Entity Type in the match may not be able to use these Tools for you to observe them on. But due to the infrequency of the Talisman working, you should not assume that after the Talisman burns and you see no sign on either Tools that you cross them off the Evidence List. We recommend moving the Tools around the Entity Room, even including multiple Easel Canvas and ESG Devices planting in various areas of the room so you may try again in getting the entity to draw a masterpiece or t-pose on the spot for your pleasure.

To use the Fulu Talisman in-game, all you need to do is equip into your right hand and interact so that the Talisman begins to burn. This is supposedly meant to increase the actions of the entity, meaning that you should get a reading on your equipment or see a visual sign of the entity itself. However, a lot of players have experienced little to no action with the Talisman in use. But this may be due to its recent appearance in Demonologist where the item requires a bit of work. At least, there is little chance of you dying directly through its usage unlike the Voodoo Doll and Ouija Board. Be sure to use the Talisman in the Entity Room if you are trying to get data quicker, otherwise, you likely will see no evil spirits presenting themselves.
