If escaping from the wastelands of the Earth by going to the skies sounds nice then Only Up! is your ideal game. By moving around on carefully constructed obstacles which include pipes, train cars, suitcases, and glass platforms your only goal is, as the name says, to go up.
However, recently some players discovered that there is a secret elevator that can help you skip some of the obstacles and make your trip to the skies faster. Some call it a hack, some call it a friendly helper when you’ve had enough of climbing and falling down. Whatever the case may be, here is the guide on how you can use the elevator in Only Up! adventure.

Where is the Elevator in Only Up?
Only Up! is an unforgiving adventure game that reminds me of some of the moments from Prince of Persia or even Assassins Creed. However, this game features only one danger – falling off a really high obstacle and repeating your journey.
We call this game unforgiving because there really aren’t any save game mechanisms and whenever you fall off a high platform, it’s back to square one. This is why the elevator has been welcomed to the game with both hands as soon as it was discovered.
Truth be told, there isn’t one elevator, but two elevators in Only Up!.
To access the first elevator, go in the direction where “Start!” arrow is showing and enter a narrow alley with graffiti on your left. Keep moving to that left side as you progress forward to the fog in front of you. Make the first turn left that you can and in a couple of feet you will see a small wooden staircase. Take them and you’ll enter an elevator that will soon turn on and take you a couple of stories up.
The second elevator, and the one that takes you much higher, is found when you don’t listen to the “Start!” arrow and go in the opposite direction. You only need to walk about 50-100 feet and you’ll notice two big screens sitting on the ground with some writing on them and a “Social Elevator” between them. Hop on that elevator and it will slowly but surely take you to the glass platform in the sky with the winners stand. This is pretty high and even though there is plenty of ground (or should I say sky) to be covered after it, the elevator essentially allows you to skip the major part of the game.
We assume that the elevators are there to help out some players that have been struggling for too long and simply allow them a checkpoint in a game that actually doesn’t have any real checkpoints.
