In Dead Space Remake, some areas are hard to come by. Whilst a lot of areas require a Power Node to unlock them, others simply are hidden, out of the way from the eye of the player. One of these areas is Floor 6 of Medical which is only accessible via one route inside Ishimura. With its complicated layout, it is easy to miss areas in your first playthrough however players are required to search the Medical Deck in its entirety to progress through the story. Therefore, this quick guide will tell you the only way into gaining entry in Floor 6 Medical.
How to Access Floor 6 Medical
Players first need to access Floor 4 of the Medical Deck, this is the key route to getting to Floor 6. For those who have searching Floor 5 in its entirety looking for a place to progress, backtrack onto Floor 4. Head west towards the Security Station, from here you need to find the small zone called the Coolant Pipelines. Here, players need to search to its end where an elevator shaft can be found. Keep an eye out for the Shaft as it is the main entry point to Floor 6. Upon entry, you will notice it has zero gravity. This will allow you to fly up to the Floor you need. In this case, Floor 6 has an entry point in the Shaft which players can access with ease.
As you are not that far off layout wise from Floor 6 as it is only two floors above, its opening in the Elevator Shaft will be clear to you as it is only approximately half way up it. Keep in mind that you should only go to this Floor when you have the Level 1 clearance. Remember that this is the only route into accessing Floor 6 of Medical, as the passage to Floor 6 via Floor 5 is blocked.
