The Saints Row franchise is known for being wacky and ridiculous. Many think that the franchise did go overboard with Saints Row 4. Despite the recent reboot toning down the wackiness, some of it remains in the game. One source of the game’s wackiness comes from the Insurance Fraud minigame. This minigame sees the player throw themselves at traffic in an attempt to commit insurance fraud. We here at Gamer Journalist will show you how to unlock it.
How to Unlock the Shady Oaks Criminal Venture
A criminal venture in Saints Row is a business that acts as a front for your criminal activity. There are several to unlock over the course of the game with Insurance Fraud being one of them. To start a criminal venture, you’ll need to go to your safehouse at the church. Once there, go upstairs to the Empire table to select a criminal venture. Shady Oaks can be selected as a venture once you’ve completed the Networking mission. Like most of the criminal ventures, it costs $30,000 to start.
Once Shady Oaks has been built, you’ll have to complete six missions to complete the Criminal Venture. Completing each one will increase the money you make from Shady Oaks. The game will say there are 7 steps to completing this venture but there are only six missions to complete. The seventh step is just a conversation with another character.
