Right before you go knives blazing at your enemies, be wary that the combat knife unlocks at level 17, so make sure to grind those XP my friend. Afterwards, you will unlock the ability to complete camo challenges. That’s what is more interesting to us. Here is a step-by-step guide on how to unlock the gold knife in Modern Warfare 2. Be prepared to do a lot of knife kills.
- After unlocking the camo challenges, you will face your first challenge to unlock the Crimson camo.
- You will need to kill 50 enemies with the knife in order to unlock the Crimson camo. Then, the Golden camo challenge will unlock.
- In order to get the Golden camo, you will need to kill 2 enemies without dying, 10 times. Once you do it, congratulations! You just unlocked your sweet Gold Knife.
As you can see, the process is pretty straightforward, just kill enemies, and you will be good to go. This new method of unlocking camo is actually pretty easy for the players, so go ahead and make the best out of it and get your Gold Knife. You’ll just need a gold steak and open up your restaurant after retiring.
