There are a total of 8 different Eikons you can unlock while playing Final Fantasy 16. Eikons are creatures you can summon as you’re battling various enemies. Shiva is an Eikon that specializes in ice abilities. She uses various attacks such as Cold Snap, Ice Age, and Diamond Dust to vanquish those who defy her. As impressive as she is, she’s actually pretty easy to unlock in the game.
If you want to unlock Shiva in Final Fantasy 16 you need to just continue the main storyline and Clive will be able to unlock Shiva. If you’ve been playing the main game you’ve probably already come across Shiva’ Dominant since she’s one of the first bosses you meet. Now, you can have her Eikon form join you in battle. Just keep playing the main game and you’ll have access to Shiva in no time.
How to Use Shiva’s Powers in Final Fantasy 16
Clive has access to the Eikon Ifrit, which means, he can transform into a devilish form. Unfortunately, he can’t transform into Shiva since Shiva’s dominant is Jill Warrick. You can still gain access to her icy abilities by accessing the abilities section on the main menu. You will need to acquire her essence and her ice powers will be available in the abilities menu. You can also upgrade these powers, as well as, allow Clive to equip them to use against enemies.
