Luckily, it’s easy to turn off the narration in both the Xbox and PC versions of the game! Here’s a simple step-step-process for both platforms:
For Xbox:
- Launch Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition.
- Press the ‘Menu‘ button on the controller.
- Select ‘Options.’
- Select ‘Audio.’
- Scroll down to the ‘Menu‘ section.
- Choose the types of ‘Menu‘ narration that you would like to turn off.
Note: Scroll further down to the Tooltips Narration and Game Objects Narration sections to adjust more narration options.
For PC:
- Launch Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition.
