But if you get lucky enough in a mission, you might have the necessary items to forcibly trigger one. In order to trigger ghost events in Phasmophobia, players will need to draw The Devil from the cursed possession Tarot Cards.

Cursed possessions are key items that have a chance of spawning when you take on missions. Providing players with a bit more control in their ghosts hunts, these items can be used to cause specific events to happen. And while the Tarot Cards can make a lot of things happen, the only card we care about for this article is the fallen angel himself. When The Devil is drawn, a ghost event occurs at the nearest person to the ghost. However if no players are inside the location of the ghost when the card is drawn, nothing will happen. And since the cards you draw are also at random, you’ll want to make sure you always have someone on the inside before drawing. Just make sure they don’t get locked in.
