How to Trade a Player In Retro Bowl

Trade for the Win

One of the most exciting features of Retro Bowl is the opportunity to control your squad as if you were the management. Drafting and working inside the salary cap are both dynamic preseason and offseason activities. Trading can be started by the player or at random by the game’s artificial intelligence. This article will explain how to trade in Retro Bowl as well as some essential aspects of the process.

Trading For Stars

Trades in and trades out are both possible in Retro Bowl. Trade outs are carried out by the player, whilst trade ins happen at random throughout the game. You may trade a player by going to the roster page for that player and selecting the trade option. Players may only be traded in this method for future draft selections. Additionally, it’s crucial to remember that toxic players cannot be traded. To be traded in the Retro Bowl, a player must also have a bad morale rating or above.

Trade out Exchange

  • 1 – 1.5 stars = third round pick
  • 2 – 3.5 stars = second round pick
  • 4 – 5 stars = first round pick

To bring a trade into your team, you must first receive a trade offer. If you have an available spot and room on your salary cap, then an AI team may approach you with an offer of a player in exchange for some of your draft selections. AI also may offer you draft picks in exchange for one of your players. This occurrence can occur only before the week 8 trading deadline.

Tips of the Trade in Retro Bowl

  • As an example, suppose you receive an offer to trade a first-round pick for a player of yours, with a star value less than four. It is important to always trade for a profit. The majority of trade proposals you will receive will be worthless.
  • If you move a player within the same season in which they were signed, there is a moral penalty for the team. As a result, it is preferable to avoid making transactions with new players.
  • Considering your aim is to win a Retro Bowl, trading for selections next season may not be the best option. If the elite players you have today provide you a higher chance of winning it all, it may be wise to play it out.

Since 1995, I have had an inseparable relationship with mobile games. More recently, my goal has been to bridge the gap between skill and critical thinking in video games. You don't have to be the best all the time to be the best. I'm here to prove it! I like competitive and casual, mobile and console and everything in between. World of Warcraft, League of Legends, Call of Duty and Apex are my current favorite games. Oh, did I mention that I love LEGO Star Wars games!
