Yule Festival a time-limited event that runs for the next twenty-one days, ending on January 7, 2021. During this time, you can complete the challenges and activities to earn exclusive rewards. After the event is over, it disappears, as does your opportunity for the exclusive bonuses. You may need to wait a full year to get another chance at the items, so act within the next three weeks.

How to Start the Yule Festival in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla

There is one pre-requirement to participate in the Yule Festival in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, and that is to complete a minimum of one story arc in England. Your options can include Grantebridgescire or Ledecestrescire, for example. Other than that, there’s no power level requirement or other pre-requisites.

When you meet the requirements, a cutscene will introduce you to the event and lead you east of your settlement. If you’re having trouble with the cutscene showing up, you should shut down your game entirely and reload into it. If you’re on a console, there’s a chance you don’t have the latest update. Try restarting your system if that’s the case, and then load your game to see if you get the cutscene.

After unlocking the cutscene, you’ll meet Norvid, a Viking scout of the Raven Clan. He’s the host of the Yule Festival who will explain all the activities and challenges, along with the process of earning Yule Tokens. There are three main activities, including a drinking game, a Yule Brawl, and Twirling Targets, which is an archery challenge. Each activity rewards tokens, which you can use to buy seasonal rewards. Additionally, you can find two new settlement story missions regarding the brewery and the cattle farm.
