How Do You Split Items in Dark and Darker?

Splitting items in Dark and Darker is actually fairly simple, and is a lot easier than what you would expect. It may not be too intuitive to other games, but the way to split item stacks in this adventuring game is similar to others such as Marauders, Dark and Light, and Escape From Tarkov. By splitting the items that you wish, you can give them out to others, trade them, sell them or use them for something else without actually selecting the entire stack of that item.

To split the desired items in Dark and Darker, you must first select them in your inventory with Left CTRL using your keyboard. After that, a slider will show up on your screen allowing you to choose how many of the item you have chosen should be split. Select this number, confirm it, and your items will automatically split for you. If this doesn’t work, play around a little bit by right clicking and pressing the aforementioned Left CTRL, or try dragging it after selecting that item, such as in Minecraft.
