How to Solve the Boiler Room Puzzle in Atomic Heart

Just chill.

The amount of puzzles in this game is over 9000! What, a boomer reference to an overused meme of a couple of years ago? Well, call me old, or sir, I love that. Not as much as I enjoy simple puzzles, though! And who would have thought that that is exactly what we will talk about today! It is almost as I deliberately forged a stream of ideas to fit this article’s topic. Well, you are wrong, except you are right. Here is how to solve the Boiler Room puzzle in Atomic Heart.

How to Solve the Boiler Room Puzzle

It is time to cool off, quite literally. During the Into the Fire mission, which will have you do several other stuff in order to get a total of 4 canisters, you will be stuck at the boiler room, with some boiling boilers (go figure). You will have to cool off these boilers with what the game calls some Fahrenheits. The game describes them as Candles filled with Cryo-Polymer. In practice, they are very cold balls that you will need to get to the boilers to cool them off through the pipeline system in the room.

You will find these Fahrenheits in the boiler room, with an objective marker placed on them. Interact with them to pick one up and go to the adjacent room, the only one that does not bring you upstairs. You will find a pipeline entry over there. Get the ball inside and then return to the boiler room to guide it to the boilers by interacting with it again. Do this a total of three times with each of the boilers and you will be good to go.

A couple of enemies will spawn each time you cool off one of the boilers, so get rid of them to not get interrupted at all. The puzzle is really straightforward, so I don’t expect you having any issue traversing through it. Just don’t touch the boilers if you don’t want some serious burning going on, and you will be good. Anyway, good luck handling those cryogenic spheres.
