War is a very ugly, albeit real thing that everyone has experienced, directly or indirectly. A war zone is synonym with death, explosions and more death. Today, we will get to relive one of those scenarios, but in a unique, creepy, and well, dreamy way indeed. Here is how to solve the submarine dream puzzle in Atomic Heart. Don’t get cozy, we are just getting started.
How to Solve Submarine Dream Puzzle in Atomic Heart
In a world featuring a mentally unstable protagonist, with robots that decided to go rogue and with some biomechanical experiments that went wrong, a dream sequence only feels a natural progression of a relatively damaged state of mind. After all, this is what nightmares are all about, and well, we are in a very eerie dream after all. So let’s get on with it!
We will wake up (or dream up) to a battle zone, frozen in time. You will see planes dropping bombs and soldiers fighting the good fight. All of them frozen, like I said, and well, all of them are robots as well. That only helps to bring up the creepiness a bit further down the rabbit’s hole. And speaking of road, you will have to collect some red shiny apples all the way to the place that the submarine is located. Once you get to the top of the submarine, you will notice some missiles that are continuously popping in an out of it. This is the classic, wait and run type of situation.
You will have to get to the other side, and the way you will proceed is by the visual queues that will aid you. When you see the missile covers trembling, that means that a missile will pop out, so wait until the missile is back inside to get to the next one. If you miscalculate, you will see yourself flying into the air. Just make sure to force your landing onto the submarine again. Once you get to the other side, keep following the apples, and you will eventually wake up,

After you get to cross the submarine’s missiles, be sure to time your jumps across the platforms and the planes to get to the other side and to the dream’s exit. You will be hearing a voice trying to wake you up, so don’t freak out. Anyway, I hope you don’t get sent to nonexistence by those missiles!
