A good old puzzle is always well received, specially in action role-playing games. I mean, it is fun to keep battling all the monsters and enemies in the world, but laying down for a couple of minutes to solve a puzzle and train your brain? Well, that’s what I call variety and, if done correctly, training for future level design challenges. Anyway, today we will visit our friends the owls to retrieve a wand and meet a ghostly figure. Here is how to solve Jackdaw Statue owl puzzle in Hogwarts Legacy.
How to Solve Jackdaw Statue Owl Puzzle
In order to solve the Jackdaw Statue owl puzzle, and try to retrieve Mr. Ollivander’s family wand, you will have to travel to the Owlery. Of course. It is located on top of the West Tower of Hogwarts Castle. You will find several owls resting on their perches. However, many of them have a door of sorts closing them, sporting a handle.
You will have to use Accio, one of your spells, in each one of them. By doing so, you will unveil what is inside. Some of them will be empty, but some of them will have a Jackdaw Statue inside. You will have to collect 5 in total. Then, you will have to fit them in five empty perches. They are the ones that are surrounding the already placed Jackdaw Statue. Once you clear the ones at ground level (be sure to look up as well), you will have to climb up the stairs in order to collect some others that are all the way up the tower.
Once you have collected the six statues, place them in the empty perches that surround the aforementioned Jackdaw Statue. Then, a whirlwind that will launch you up to the highest part of the tower. You will be greeted by the ghost of Richard Jackdaw, the one that designed the puzzle in the first place. He will tell you that he does not have the wand with him and instruct you to follow him to the entrance of the Forbidden Forest, to guide you to the cave where he was beheaded. Yikes.

And that’s it! This is a classic puzzle that will train your spatial awareness, so be sure to look up and down for all the Jackdaw Statues that will appear. Just be sure to not follow the same steps that led to Richard Jackdaw losing his head, quite literally! Good luck!
