I wonder where did the convention of having horrible ingredients in potion crafting was invented. I mean, I get that for us to receive power there must be a sacrifice of sorts, but couldn’t they just make a chocolate-flavored potion to increase our stats without using crushed insects? Well, too bad, you are in the world of awful but powerful ingredients. Therefore, today we will get to know where to find leech juice in Hogwarts Legacy, to the suffering of our taste buds.
Where to Find Leech Juice
Leech juice, as you might know by the lore or by the name, is literally a fluid that derives from crushed and liquefied leeches. Gross, right? Well, it is used in several potions such as the Shrinking Solution or Potion, which, as the name states, will cause the drinker to shrink in size. In Hogwarts Legacy, leech juice will be one of the ingredients for two potions: Maxima Potion and the Thunderbrew. The Maxima Potion will increase your spell damage for a limited time, while the Thunderbrew will create a storm around the drinker, stunning and damaging nearby enemies.
In order to get the leech juice, you will have two options. You can either purchase it, or you can find it in the wild. On one hand, you will be able to purchase leech juice by visiting either J. Pippins Potionsin Hogsmeade, or Hamlet Shop in Keenbridge for 150 gold. On the other hand, you can find leech juice in the wild if you look for it near waterfronts.

While the ingredient may sound disgusting, and it is, it serves quite great purposes by making strong potions that will benefit you in combat. Be sure to collect this ingredient to have a bonus while facing stronger enemies in the game. And when you have to drink the options, just do it fast and don’t think much about it.
