How to Solve 5 Harpies Puzzle in Destiny 2 Lightfall

Puzzle solving can get overly complicated, so much that some players get stuck forever in a loophole of frustrations, broken dream, and tears. But let’s not talk over my experience with the Water Temple. Thankfully, there are some puzzles that will require the minimum to make it both interesting, and also fun to solve them. This is one of them. Here is how to solve 5 Harpies Puzzle in Destiny 2 Lightfall.

How to Solve 5 Harpies Puzzle in Destiny 2 Lightfall

The 5 Harpies Puzzle is something you will encounter during the Osiris Training Program. There are several variants of this puzzle, and while it may see overwhelming at first due to the amount of Harpies in the zone, in fact, the way you are going to solve this is quite easy. You will just have to see the signs and get ready to shoot some Harpies to oblivion, like you would do in a normal day. You see, there are five crystals you will want to make disappear, since they are the locks that prevent you from moving forward. As you can see below, there are two types of crystal, one that doesn’t shine, and four that do. Now take a look at the Harpies, you will see two kinds as well. Draw your own conclusions and let’s move forward.

Yes, there are some Harpies that shine and some that don’t. Specifically, the Anion Harpies don’t shine, and the Cation Harpies do. So, the way you are going to solve this puzzle is by killing the correct Harpy, in order. Anion Harpies for non-shining crystals, and Cation Harpies for shining ones.

As you can see in the first image and the images directly above and below, the first crystal wasn’t shining, that means that we must kill an Anion Harpy to disable it. You can see the crystal disappearing in the image below.

Just as you might expect, you will have to kill 4 straight Cation Harpies in order to get rid of the four remaining crystals. Watch out for the Harpies’ energy projectiles and you should be good.

As you can see above, the crystals disappear after each killing. Kill the remainder of the Harpies and you will solve the 5 Harpies Puzzle in no time.

And that is pretty much it. Thankfully, all the skills you will need is some quick deduction and, well, shooting your way to the puzzle solution. Just remember the crystal and Harpy matching, and you will be good to go and ready to continue solving other Harpy puzzles that could appear next, or even before. Good luck!
