Zulu Wars recreates a historic event in the world of Roblox, the story of Rorke’s Drift Outpost. In the game, players will be donning the uniform and weapons of the time and will be mercilessly defending their Outpost against the Zulu forces intent on bringing it down. If you want to be successful, then you’d better shoot them down, and quickly. However, operating the gun isn’t as easy as it seems. Here is how to shoot and use your bayonet in Zulu Wars.
Please note that the developer is merely recreating an important historical event, and anyone wanting to implement racism of any form will be banned from the game.
How to shoot your rifle in Zulu Wars
There is a little more to it than aiming and firing. The weapon you’ll be using is not automatic, meaning you’ll only have one round before you need to manually reload. This makes shooting slow, which is exactly the point.
Firstly, it is worth knowing that ‘Z’ can make your character stand to attention, which gives you your cursor back and gives you control of the camera. Your character cannot shoot during this pose, however, you do not run any faster, either. You can press ‘Z’ again to get back to wielding your weapon.
Holding the right click will let you aim down the sights. You’ll notice that white cross-hairs will appear, and will close in on each other. This symbolizes your accuracy. Your shot will launch within the boundaries of the cross-hairs, so the longer you aim, the more accurate your shot.

Do note, however, that bullets won’t travel in a completely straight line. The further they are, the higher you’ll have to aim as the bullet will drop after a certain length. Every shot kills, so stay accurate, and you’ll be feeling Zulus like there’s no tomorrow. Which there may not be if you don’t operate your weapon correctly!
After every shot, press ‘R’ to reload. This will take some time and you will be slower when moving. This will make you vulnerable, so make sure you are safe before reloading. If there is a Zulu in close proximity, you will die.
Using Your Bayonet in Zulu Wars
You see that sharp, stabby thing at the end of your rifle? That’s your bayonet. Press ‘X’ to activate ‘bayonet mode’. You cannot fire your gun in this mode, as left-clicking will instead stab your bayonet. If there are Zulus in close quarters, don’t shoot, as you’ll be too slow and will die. Your best chance of surviving is to keep walking back and to keep stabbing with your bayonet. You may be able to kill three Zulus before you get overrun, which may save your life.
Press ‘X’ again to go back to firing your gun.
