Exit the boat and make your way towards the camp. You can enter stealthily or by brute force. The decision is up to you, as it always is in Assassin’s Creed. Once you take out the guards or sneak your way in, approach the river from the camp’s inner walls. Beforehand, you can loot a few supplies to take with you.

Scale the wall and look down over the river. Beneath you, a pulley system and a few levers keep the chain held up across the river. Jump down to the area where the chain meets the wooden device, and inspect its sides with your bow.

The device’s sides should light up red, which lets you know you can destroy them. Pull out your bow and shoot both sides. In doing so, you will release the naval chain for The Swan-Road Home quest in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. There are quite a few quests like this throughout the story, so you can always be sure to look out for some destructible objects.
