Everybody loves celebrating their birthdays, and what better way to celebrate than with a Pokémon present? You’re able to register your birthday in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, which means you’ll be eligible for a special surprise if you happen to log into the game on your special day! Keep reading to find out how to register your birthday in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.

How to Register Your Birthday in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

Registering your birthday in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet is one of the easiest things you can do in the game, and you can do it almost as soon as you begin playing! All you need to do to begin registering your birthday in this game is locate a Pokémon Center. Once you’ve tracked one down, speak to the Nurse; she should give you these options to choose from:

  • I’d like to heal my Pokémon
  • I don’t know where to go…
  • Can I register my birthday?
  • I’m all good!

All you need to do is click on “Can I register my birthday?” and you will be asked to input the month, date, and year of your birth. Once you’ve successfully completed this task, you will have successfully registered your birthday in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet; congratulations!

What Happens on Your Birthday in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet?

If you go to the Pokémon Center on your birthday (after registering your birthday first, of course) and talk to the Nurse, she will wish you a happy birthday and give you a heartwarming message. You will also be presented with images of confetti, cake, balloons, and joyful Pokémon. You won’t get any in-game gifts, unfortunately, but the fact that the game acknowledges and celebrates your birthday at all is still uplifting!
