How to Recruit Sean in Fire Emblem Engage

Sean may or may not be off the table, but you can always go for Jean!

Fire Emblem Engage has no shortage of characters available to add to your team. From returning heroes and characters, to all new companions. However, there might be some characters that only show up to help and don’t end up joining your team. This could be from a cinematic standpoint, or a gameplay one. Our topic is going to be discussing the Firenese doctor Sean, a character you meet during the Budding Talent Paralogue mission. You come across him as his clinic is under attack from the corrupted, and are tasked with helping him clear out the enemies. He will take part in this fight, leaving many to try to figure out how to recruit Sean in Fire Emblem Engage.

When you join the fight to help Sean, he won’t exactly be useable. He’ll be healing the people around the map while you take care of any corrupted. His class is Martial Monk and if you work with him, you’ll be able to complete this in encounter in no time.

Sadly, this will be the only fight that he will assist you in, as you can not recruit Sean in Fire Emblem Engage. You can however recruit his son, Jean onto your team as a Martial Monk, so you won’t be completely left out. It does seem that Fire Emblem Engage has a few fights such as this. Where characters will aid you in battle without joining your party after. Players will unfortunately have to settle with Jean, and leave Sean to his medicine.
