While progressing through the game you will form a clan and that clan will need a lot of members in order to be influential and strong. Here’s a guide on how to recruit all characters in Chained Echoes.

Recruiting Guide for Chained Echoes

The first thing you should know is that various characters will bring new bonuses with them. Some will upgrade your base, while others will increase the number of Skill Points (SP) you get through the battle. Also, some characters require certain preconditions before you can recruit them so we’ve split this into three different areas: Characters that can be recruited in Hermit’s Isle, characters that can be recruited in Act 3 (Clan Rank 2), and characters that can be recruited in Act 4 (Clan Rank 3).

Recruiting in Hermit’s Isle

List of characters recruitable to your Crimson Wings clan after unlocking the base in Hermit’s Isle:

  • Falora – You can find her in the southern part of Hermit’s Isle, on the pier. Talk to her and she will join.
  • Vesta – Vesta can be found on a lonely island in the middle of the lake near the Kortara Mountains. Once you go through the dialogue with him, he will join your Clan.

She will say that she wants to see him in your base in Hermit’s Isle and will come with you, still unrecruited. Once you go back to base and find Bernd, they will go into an argument after which she will be recruited into your clan.
  • Jack – In the southern Fierwoods, find a research camp, and right next to it you will find Jack. Jack is a monkey-looking lumberjack.
