Let the grinding commence
There isn’t a way to put this lightly, but to level up in Era of Althea will require grinding. And lots of it. Thankfully, no matter your level, there are many grinding spots to choose from, and every location will have at least one. It will not be easy, and there is no secret or cheat that will reward you quickly Wanna get strong? Then you’d better train hard.
Every village and town has a quest board which you can interact with to accept. The quests require you hunt down a certain number of enemies in a specific area, such as wolves or golems. These quests are actually gateways into grinding loads of enemies.

These quests are level-limited, however, so to level up quickly, you must search for the highest level quest that is available to you, and you must repeatedly complete it, slaughtering the same enemies again and again. Try to use the environment against your enemies to have an easier time fighting them. Additionally, having the ability to block will help make much tougher enemies’ light work, as long as you don’t let your block meter deplete.
Killing the enemies, again and again, is what is known as XP grinding, as you are repeatedly doing the same task for the sake of levels. When you level up enough for the next quest, it would be advised that you immediately switch over to that location to accept that quest for maximal XP gain. Boss quests are a great XP siphon, too.
