If you’re looking to learn how to play the game you’re going to want to try to master how to parry and block certain attacks. Blocking attacks is great to use, however parrying, is something different. This is especially useful if you’re going up against one opponent. Why is using parry great against only one opponent? If you use parry on enemies who will stagger you could fall victim to parrying only one opponent and dealing damage from the second. When you parry against an enemy you’re attacking whoever you’re aiming towards. Here are some tips you can use if you’re wanting to parry an enemy:

  • Aim for your target so you can parry against them
  • Build up stamina because the parry ability will only work if you have stamina after blocking
  • You can spam parry attacks
  • You can block and then parry, however, you can’t attack and then parry. Cancel attacks by blocking and then parry
  • You can only parry if you have certain weapons with this ability

Now that you have some basic tips, here’s what you need to do. Get your hands on Devil’s Claw Sword because it will allow you to parry using a special ability. In order to use the special action you need to check your key binds. Usually you can perform this move by pressing mouse button 5 on your mouse. When you click this special attack button you will be able to perform a parry move that will block and attack automatically.
