How to Manage Energy in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Wanna stretch out your energy in Disney Dreamlight Valley?

Gameloft’s latest release, Disney Dreamlight Valley, is a beautiful life-sim title that manages to grab the eyes and hearts of fans with its fantastic cast of Disney characters. And just like in many other games of the genre, Dreamlight Valley will need players to keep an eye on their character’s Energy in order to keep them in tip-top shape so that they can continue to carry out tasks without a halt.

There are many things that can help you stretch out your Energy and keep you moving, but there are even more ways to deplete it. Today, we’re going to explain how you can manage your Energy in Disney Dreamlight Valley so that it becomes second nature.

How to Manage Energy in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Keeping your Energy from dropping too low isn’t actually something that players are going to find difficult in Disney Dreamlight Valley. The most difficult part about it is simply remembering that it even exists or needs to be tended to.

Your Energy bar is always going to be located in the very top-left corner of your screen. The Energy icon resembles a cloud and its color is blue. When the bar is completely filled, it’ll be blue all across it. As you perform tasks such as gardening, mining, and the like, your bar will begin to deplete and the blue will start retracting towards the cloud icon on the left side of it.

Once that bar is exhausted, so is your character and you won’t be able to perform tasks until you get that bar back up. There are a few different ways to do this and aren’t very hard to accomplish. The first and easiest way is to head back to your home and just relax for a moment. Your Energy bar will begin to fill and within seconds, be full once more.

Alternatively, the other way which is more likely the one to use is to just eat something you’ve foraged. I tend to use this method more often as it can be a timely thing to trek back to your house every time you need a fill-up. You can eat fish, fruits, vegetables, or meals to get your Energy bar back up and each item has a different amount that will be contributed to it. Meals seem to give you the biggest boost though. Additionally, your Energy bar will begin to get increased incrementally as you gain experience and level up as well.

That’s all you need to know when it comes to managing your Energy in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Remember to keep an eye on that bar, eat some food, or head home, and you’ll never have to worry about getting exhausted.
