How To Increase Energy And Recover From Exhaustion in Disney Dreamlight Valley

In Disney Dreamlight Valley, just about everything you do is governed by the blue Energy meter on the top-left of your screen. Whether you’re mining, fishing, gardening, or whatever else, you’ll passively drain the Energy out of the bar. If your Energy bar is completely empty, then you’re officially Exhausted. Any further attempts at tasks in this state will be rejected until you can refill your Energy.

When you’re Exhausted, there are two ways you can refill your Energy meter. First, just go home. When you’re inside your personal house, your Energy bar will begin rapidly filling back up, usually returning to full in just a few seconds’ time.

Second, eat some food. If you open your inventory and highlight an edible item, be it a raw ingredient or something you prepared, you’ll see how much Energy it restores at the bottom of the window. Chow down, and your Energy bar will refill. If you’re just eating raw ingredients, then try not to eat more than you need, though, as the Energy bar can only fill up to its maximum capacity. If you’ve got food you personally cooked, though, that stuff can fill up the bar past its limit. When you’ve got a second, gold-colored Energy bar, that’s a Well-Fed bonus, which boosts your movement speed.

When you first start Disney Dreamlight Valley, your Energy meter will be pretty paltry, but you can expand it by leveling up. By interacting with your friends, completing quests, engaging with activities, and clearing out Night Thorns, you’ll gain experience. Gain enough experience, and you’ll level up, increasing your Energy bar’s maximum limit.

If you want to get as much done in a day as you possibly can, make sure to keep some food in your inventory, and get lots of experience to increase that Energy bar!
