Philosophy can be discovered through 3 different recipes in Little Alchemy 2:

- Human + Idea
- Human + Story
The simplest and fastest way to get it is with the first recipe, Egg + Chicken. Here are the steps to take:
Get the Egg
- Water + Water = Puddle
- Water + Puddle = Lake
- Water + Lake = Sea
- Sea + Earth = Primordial Soup
- Fire + Fire = Energy
- Primordial Soup + Energy = Life
- Life + Fire = Phoenix
- Phoenix + Phoenix = Egg
Get the Chicken
- Earth + Fire = Lava
- Lava + Air = Stone
- Stone + Stone = Wall
- Wall + Wall = House

The Chicken and Egg is one of the most interesting combos for me in this game since it’s actually a small joke. The question of what is older – the chicken or the egg is a longstanding philosophical question, and to think that the creators of Little Alchemy 2 thought of that and inserted it into the game is hilarious to me!
