If I could save time in a bottle, the first thing that I’d like to do is finish all of the games on my backlog without worrying about it taking the entire rest of my life. Sadly, I can’t transcend the fourth dimension on my own, nor am I an alchemist, so that’s not happening. But in Little Alchemy 2, you are an alchemist, so maybe you can get a little more time on your hands. Here’s how to make Time in Little Alchemy 2.

Time is one of the most useful and versatile elements in the entirety of Little Alchemy 2, and rightfully so. Time is a primal concept, governing things like growth and entropy. And booze! Fermentation needs time, after all. Thing is, though, Time is not something amateur alchemists can toy with. In order to prove you’ve got the chops to use it, you’ll first need to discover at least 100 different elements.

How to Make Time in Little Alchemy 2

While this sounds daunting, it’s actually not that hard. In the first place, the first four elements that you begin the game with count toward the tally, and just by combining them in ways you haven’t tried before, followed by the elements you get from combining those elements, you’re pretty much guaranteed to uncover lots of new elements. It’s the scientific method in action: throw stuff at the wall and see what sticks.

If you need a jumping-off point, here are a few quick ideas you can make with your starting elements:

Fire + FireEnergy
Earth + FireLava
Water + EarthMud
Water + WaterPuddle
Puddle + PuddlePond
Pond + PondLake
Lake + LakeSea
Sea + SeaOcean
Air + AirPressure
Pressure + AirWind
Sea + EarthPrimordial Soup
Earth + EarthLand
Land + EarthContinent
Continent + ContinentPlanet
