Gleamer Studio’s Settlement Survival has seen some big updates and improvements since its release, with some pretty notable changes at various times. One such thing was the disappearance of the Grocery Store which was used for players to make money from.
But these days, making money is a bit more tricky to do, as it isn’t spelled out as plainly as it once was. So, if you’re like most players and want to know about how to make money in Settlement Survival, rest assured, as we know all there is to know on the matter and can explain!
How to Make Money in Settlement Survival
An important thing to know about how to make money in Settlement Survival, is that there is a new method of hoops that you’ll now need to jump through in order to earn money to purchase the many things available in-game. The currency you’re looking for is called Silver Coins, and it’s actually something that you’ll need to make yourself, using many constructive elements. Let’s explain.
How to Get Silver Coins
The first thing you’ll need to do is head to your Town page, scroll down to the Mining tab, and unlock Mining. Mining does cost 80x Timber and 60x Stone to get things started.
The very next thing you’ll need to unlock is the Exploration Technology 1 which is located below Mining. This will run you 80x Planks, 80x Bricks, and 120x Lamp Oil.
After that, you’ll move onto the next choice which is to the right of Exploration Technology 1, Silver. Activating Silver does not cost anything, and at this point, you’ll only be one Mining element away from being able to make your own Silver Coins.

Now that you’ve got Silver, it’s time to mint it! So unlock the Minting option located below Silver. This will cost you 40x Building Kit, 20x Planks, and 80x Lamp Oil.
Now that you’ve unlocked all of those cogs for this Silver Coin making machine, you’ll be well on your way to a wealthy lifestyle with all of the money you’ll ever need! There’s nothing like minting your own money.
