How To Make Arrows in The Forest

First thing’s first, it’s best to know what kind of arrows you can build in The Forest, as there are only standard ones to craft. There are actually 5 different kinds of arrows, each with varying effects as well as damage output. There are normal, bone, poison, and fire arrows to choose from when deciding which ones you’d like to craft. Unfortunately, Modern arrows cannot be crafted but can be scavenged for throughout the world of The Forest in places such as caves or yellow crates.

Below, we’ll list what ingredients are used to craft each specific arrow as well as what it was intended to be used for.

  • 5x Normal Arrows = 1x Stick + 5x Feathers – Animals & Babies
  • 5x Bone Arrows = 1x Stick + 5x Feathers + 5x Bones – Cannibals and Mutants
  • 5x Fire Arrows = 5x Any Arrows + 1x Cloth + 1x Booze – Cannibals and Mutants
  • 5x Poison Arrows = 5x Any Arrows + 4x Twin Berries/4x Snow Berries/1x Amanita Mushroom/ 1x Jack Mushroom – Cannibals and Mutants

It’s important to note that arrows are useless unless paired with a bow to fire them. They unfortunately can’t be used as a melee weapon or anything like that. Additionally, it’s good to know that once you’ve killed an enemy, any arrows you’ve hit them with can be retrieved from their bodies. You can also pick up any of the arrows you missed them with from the surrounding area. As for Fire and Poison Arrows, while they can be retrieved, their fire or poisonous effects will disappear, leaving them as Normal Arrows.

Arrows can be stored in two different methods of storage. You have the Arrow Basket or the Quiver to choose from. The Quiver comes in handy most as it will increase your carrying capacity from 30 Arrows to 50 when equipped.

Here’s how to make them.

  • Arrow Basket = 25x Sticks
  • Quiver = 3x Rabbit Fur + 1x Rope

That’s all there is to making Arrows in The forest! Good luck scavenging!
