What are Camps for in Baldur’s Gate 3?

Camps serve as a resting area for you and your companions. You can opt for either a Short Rest or a Long Rest once there. Short Rest doesn’t cost anything and will restore a bit of your HP and Spell Slots. On the other hand, Long Rest will cost you 40 Camp Supplies, but will, in turn, heal you fully and restore all your Spell Slots.

A Camp is also a place where you can interact and even romanticize with your companions, manage your party (change active members), and talk with NPCs about your next course of action. The last thing is pretty important since these conversations can impact the direction that your story will take further.
