How to Learn Bombarda in Hogwarts Legacy – Spell Guide

Boom, boom, pow.

As a wizard, you should be careful to where or to whom you direct your spells, curses, and charms to. And that’s some wise advice. I mean, if there was a spell that could, for example, cause a massive explosion and destroy buildings and harm everyone in the other end, I would certainly refrain from using it lightly! What? There is? Oh well, here goes nothing. Here is how to learn Bombarda in Hogwarts Legacy.

Before you attempt to learn Bombarda you will have to complete the Professor Howin’s Assignment side quest. This takes place in Winter, so don’t worry about it until you see some snow. Once you start the side quest, you will have to look for the Diricawl and the Giant Purple Toad and catch them both. Look out for the Paw logo in the map to identify their locations. The Diricawl is a bird-like beast that can be found in the Hogwarts Valley region. The Giant Toad can be found running the water at the South Sea Bog region.

Once you have both species, bring them back to the Beasts Classroom. Speak to Professor Howin, and she will teach you Bombarda, also known as the Exploding Charm. As you may think, this Charm will direct a huge amount of energy towards the enemy, dealing explosive damage. So, basically, cast it, then kaboom.

And that’s pretty much it! Go ahead and deal with your enemies in a very explosive way. Be sure to capture those creatures while using Disillusionment and then Levioso to stun them, and then use the Nab-Sack to capture them. It is a very straight-forward process that, this time, will award you with a powerful ability.
